Humanity is my religion...

As I observe obsessive reactions to recent terror attacks...it concerns me...

Are we taking that crossroad yet again, which we have been trying to divulge from a time that has spanned over more than half a century...?

Are we going to make this a "Religion" issue yet again...?

Are we letting vested interests captialize on this issue and play with human lives yet again...?

Are we going to let ourselves weak at the time of national crisis...?

I fear that some obsessive reactions may wake up weak...distressed minds...

I share the grief with the Nation...
I condole for the loss of human lives...

...but I shall emerge stronger...united...and responsible...

...I shall not let this anger take over my soul in the direction of self destruction...

...but I shall use this anger in a constructive manner for a better tomorrow for my country...my fellow citizens and myself...

If "Religion" is to obsessively react...wake up and fight for our rights in the name of "Religion"...Such a fight is nothing but degradation of humanity...

We are Indians and even before that we are Humans...who just care for mankind and peaceful co-existance of mankind...

We need to think laterally right here...right now...We need to bring about that rational change...Change is always for better...

...that change for betterment of Mankind is the need of the hour...

...We need to believe we are at safe hands...
...We need to walk through our streets fearlessly...
...We need to be let enjoy a happy meal with our friends and family...

..National security is the SOS call today that need to be addressed by the nation...

On yet another topic...as I flip through statistics...my heart weeps...

43% of world's population who are below poverty line(<1.42Dollars a day) are in India...76% of the people in India earn probably less than 2 Dollars a day...Isnt such things more important to tackle than worry about rights of Muslims and Hindus.
It might be worth analysing if any of our neighbours are dealing with such problems better than us and adopt a few to improvise things...than engage in a war with our neighbours...

As educated *Indians*..its our responsibility not to futher encourage our politicians to think on the lines of religion...but highlight more important issues to work on...Many a times its we citizens who bring up religious issues and force the govt to deal with it. There have been Politicians who have used such issues only for their benefit. People have been victims either way...first of their weak and narrow minds and second at the hands of selfish politicians(some)

Given a choice between Survival of Religion and Survival of Humanity...Any sensible humanbeing would choose the latter...

Religion is personal belief...and let that be...It makes no sense to make it a political issue...

We have all seen the result of provocation...Its sad state of affairs in some part of Govt Policies...No one denies it...

My thought is simple...and a little different...

I would not question the Government that I am "X...belonging to "y" religion" and will I be granted special privileges in state "abc"..Then some "p" will raise an objection...I get provoked...I get more distressed people to support me and so does the other...one day we will all see ourselves with clubs...swords and RDX on streets...Result: Innocent people being killed...over petty personal issues...

Someone needs to put a full stop to all this...Provocation has been one of the root causes for all personal beliefs transforming into country's shame...

I still choose not to think and answer question by questions raised out of obsessive reactions...as its just the result of provocation...

I'd rather blow up issues like national security...poverty...curruption...malnutrition...basic education...basic facilities for under-priviledged...unemployment...population control...health facilities...inflation...and moving onto issues in urban areas like infrastructure...quality of life etc...

I am just trying to divert the whole topic from Haj subsidies to More important things to be addressed...If we are successful in keeping the govt busy on such issues...I bet they(sensible politicians) would not have time to think on the lines of religion...There might a handful who will still weed...but they need to be handled...

We would be probably left with just two categories based on which there could and should be some policies made..."Privileged" and "Under-priviledged" totally based on economic status...A under-priviledged who one day turned into a millionaire and then his children claiming medical seats based on "Heriditary-Under-priviledged status" makes no sense...Policies must be based on facts than inherited status characteristics...

For all those who are wondering what material I am made of ....that after such having experienced the face of terror point blank...can I still be tolerant?

I am not taking shelter under a "Tolerent" umbrella...I choose to enjoy a dance in the rain :-)...simple pleasures missed out...Humanity getting sabotaged under the umbrella of religion...caste...creed...color...etc not asked for at the time when country is admist the crisis...to deal with natural calamities and terrorism...

Vande Mataram...Jai Hind...
